About Bornholm Agency

Bornholm Agency is Bornholm Regional Municipality's advisory centre for consortia, job seekers, subcontractors and other companies in relation to major construction projects (e.g. Energiø Bornholm, shipping projects, major construction projects, etc.)

The purpose of Bornholm Agency is to create a single point of entry for Danish and foreign employees coming to Bornholm to work on one or more major construction projects. The focus is on supporting a smooth process for receiving qualified employees.

At Bornholm Agency:

• Are we working towards the largest possible share of Danish labour in major construction projects on Bornholm
• We support the upskilling of unemployed people for positions targeting job openings in major construction projects on Bornholm.
• We help potential apprentices and trainees come into play for education and training in consortia and companies on major construction projects on Bornholm
• We match job seekers with job vacancies and provide guidance on upskilling and competency profiles.
• We provide qualified candidates from all over Denmark with an interest in major construction projects on Bornholm, through networks in job centres and nationwide communication about Energy Island Bornholm, settlement and job opportunities.
• We serve companies that need apprentices, employees or other advice in connection with their major construction projects on Bornholm.
• We have a strong collaboration between Bornholm Regional Municipality, Campus Bornholm, Business Center Bornholm, Offshore Center Bornholm and the Danish Agency for Labour Market and Recruitment.
